Mosiah 2:17 “And behold, I tell ye these things that ye may learn wisdom; that ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God.”
Merry Christmas! I love this season. I love being able to celebrate the birth and life of the most important person who ever walked this earth. And to celebrate His atonement, the very reason He lived—that you and I could return to Him once again to live.
Have I posted this before? I don’t know, nor do I care. It deserves to be posted multiple times. I love this song. One day I will tell you all why, when I’m not procrastinating tons of homework. Until next time, tumblr chums.
“I testified with a fervor as great as any I have ever felt that God does give power to men and women to do His will if they will have faith in Him. When we exercise faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, we can do things we could not otherwise do. When out hearts are determined to do right, the Lord gives us the power to do so.”
“Brothers and sisters, the most powerful Being in the universe is the Father of your spirit. He knows you. He loves you with a perfect love.
God sees you not only as a mortal being on a small planet who lives for a brief season—He sees you as His child. He sees you as the being you are capable and designed to become. He wants you to know that you matter to Him.”
Some songs can be really spiritual even if they aren’t hymns, ya know? This is the story of the Prodigal Son that can be found in the book of Matthew. The lyrics are phenomenal, and the music is just as good. Kensrue is very religious, inspirational man—almost all of his music has a Christian emphasis, so I’d recommend listening to his music and even most of his interviews. Because let’s face it, MoTab doesn’t really fit every mood.
“Scriptures are like packets of light that illuminate our minds and give place to guidance and inspiration from on high. They can become the key to open the channel to communion with our Father in Heaven and His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ.”
I know that Christ lives, and that His atonement is for more than just repentance. It is for healing, it is for helping. He knows every pain, every heartache, and every sorrow we have ever had. He knows us, and He can bless us. He can heal us.
